On The Go/Travel Photo Essentials

A few weeks back a very exciting little package full of makeup arrived at my work - the guys over at world of duty free set me a challenge to put together my perfect "on the go/travel essentials" for taking the perfect Instragram photo, okay, they used the word "Selfie" but i'm still not sure how comfortable I am with that one making it's way into the oxford dictionary...

World Duty Free has loads of beauty exclusives and the World Duty Free in-store experts have put together the perfect ‘selfie kit’ for people heading off for some winter sun or for an Autumnal city adventure to look their best in all their pictures. Below is my edit of their kit with a special shout out to my favourites:

Base:
Estee Lauder Daywear Tinted Moisturiser: a super lightweight, super sheer moisturiser with a hint of tint. Perfect for early morning starts and brightening up sleepy faces. You also won't need a brush to apply it so it's super travel friendly

Geurlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder: I'd recently be crushing on a beautiful bronzer by Avon before picking this up, but it's currently ruling the roost when it comes to bronzing up my face. It has a sublte hint of shimmer that's barely visible, but gives a lovely healthy glow to the skin. Perfect if you're going away to warmer climates and haven't seen the sun in six months like me!

Eyes:
Bobbi Brown Brow Kit: This baby has worked it's way into my regular brow routine now and it is love. Coming to you in a youtube video very soon...

YSL Touche Eclat: I didn't want to give in to the hype on this one - I've put off purchasing it for years because of the price - but it is amazing at brightening up your face. I dot it around the inner corners of my eyes where my skin is darkest and blend with a tiny setting brush - beautiful!!

Lips
Arden 8hr Lip Protectant in tin: This is such a cult product and is now available at World Duty Free. I used this before applying my lip product of choice to give things a little more moisture. The tin makes it super travel friendly and I think products like this are a must have for travelling.

YSL Travel Selection Make-up Palette: It makes me cry that this is limited edition to World Duty Free because I love it so much - however my little brother is going skiing for the holidays so I might get him to pick these up for my friends before he boards his flight ;) I used a tiny bit of the blush on my cheeks but the real beauty is their lip pigment - name unknown - in a beautiful red wine colour. It comes off sightly more pink on me as all products do but dries to a velvet/matte finish which makes it super long lasting and perfect for traveling a long way.

To top it all off I went in with my mascara of choice and favourite liquid liner to complete the look! There are definitely a fair few products that i'll be digging out on a regular basis, keep an eye out to see if they pop up some more...

P.S How cute is the bag it come in! I loveeeeee!
