DAHLIA DIVIN EDT.
We all know that I'm a massive fragrance hoarder, there's just something about having a wealth of difference scents at my disposal that feels weirdly liberating. I've been stealing fragrances off my mum since I was a small child, with Cerruti 1881 being my first fragrance of my own. Over the years the collection has changed and has seen the likes of Viktor & Rolf, Lancome, Chanel and YSL, with more recent additions including Tom Ford, Esteé Lauder, Jo Malone, and now... Givenchy.
The Dahlia Divin fragrance is the first from the brand to make it's way in to my hands. It's housed in a beautiful clear glass bottle with a peachy liquid inside and a touch of rosey/gold twine wound just under the head of the bottle.
Better yet is how it actually smells. The composition begins with blood orange and peach. Followed by jasmine and roses at the heart and ending with a base of sandalwood, vanilla and musk. The top notes and heart give it that little something extra which separates it from my already existing fragrance collection, but it's the base that is the common factor which keeps me coming back and solidifies it's place in my stash.
